The name Seventh-day Adventist® reflects two vital beliefs for us as a church. Seventh-day refers to the Biblical Sabbath, which from creation has always been on the seventh day of the week, or Saturday. Adventist reflects our passionate conviction about the nearness of Christ's soon return, or advent. Our mission is to proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angel’s messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus Christ as personal Savior and to unite with His church, and nurturing them in preparation for His soon return.
