What to Expect
.
Getting In
  • Parking is available in the lot behind the church, on the grass at the north end of the property and, unless our deacons direct you otherwise, in the lot of our neighbor church next door.
  • The main entrance to the church is on the New Hampshire Avenue side. There is a second entrance at the back of the church that offers access to the lower level. If you are handicapped, you’ll want to use the main entrance for easy access to the sanctuary. There are several spaces directly in front of the main entrance that are handicapped-accessible. If all of these are taken when you arrive, one of our deacons will be glad to park your car for you.
Getting Settled
  • Our greeters will meet you at either the upper- or lower-level entrance, and provide you with a bulletin that will show you what will happen during the service. You can also find other brochures and copies of our church newsletter, Church Matters, at the Welcome Center in the main lobby upstairs.
  • The main restrooms are located on the lower level, along with our Fellowship Hall and children’s Sabbath School rooms. There are handicapped accessible restrooms on the sanctuary level.
  • Feel free to sit wherever you feel comfortable when you enter the sanctuary. Our ushers will be happy to help you find a spot.
  • Sabbath School meets between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. If you arrive during that time, feel free to join one of our Bible discussion groups.
 During Worship
  • Whether you attend our traditional 8:30 a.m. service or the more contemporary 11:00 a.m. service, you can expect a meaningful worship experience. From the music to the fellowship to the sermon, our goal is to worship God and strengthen one another.
  • There is a room along the right side of the sanctuary, set aside especially for parents with small children who may become restless or need a little more space to move around. The windows are darkened for privacy, while still allowing a view of the sanctuary.
