Bible Bowl 2009-2010

WHAT IS THE BIBLE BOWL?

Bible Bowl is a game developed to enhance the study of the Bible and test Bible knowledge by using a trivia game format.
A lock-out system is used to accurately determine game time and fair scoring for team play and competitions.
Seven books of the Bible are chosen each year for each age category from ages 10 to adult.
Teams are formed according to age - Pre-Junior, 6-9; Junior Youth, 10-15; Young Adult, 16-35; and Adult/Veteran 35+.
The teams compete against other teams in other churches, other areas and finally other conferences in a national competition.

CONGRATULATIONS to BRINKLOW's 2009-2010 YOUNG ADULT and ADULT BIBLE BOWL TEAMS!
Our Young Adult and Adult teams won 1st and 2nd place respectively in the Bible Bowl
competition on June 19. On October 28-31, 2010, Brinklow's Young Adult team will
represent the Allegheny East Conference at the National's level (for the first time ever).
They solicit your prayers, encouragement and support. GO TEAM, GO!

We are recruiting interested and dedicated individuals for Bible Bowl season 2010-2011.

BIBLE BOOKS EACH GROUP MUST STUDY (2010)
   Pre-Junior - Luke and 1 Kings
Junior Youth - Luke, 1 Kings, Malachi, Jude, and Proverbs 1-15
Senior Youth - Luke, 1 Kings, Malachi, Jude, Proverbs 1-15, and Romans
Adult/Veteran and Young Adult - Luke, 1 Kings, Malachi, Jude, Proverbs 1-15, Romans and Job

STUDY SESSIONS
   Adult/Veteran-Wednesdays, 6 p.m.
   Young Adult - Sundays at 11 a.m.
   Junior Youth- Sabbaths at 10 a.m.
