Youth Week In Spiritual Emphasis (W.I.S.E.)
It's Youth W.I.S.E.! Come on out and hear some Children Stories this week as God brings the word through his servant Pastor Kelan Fielder. You don't want to miss this week. We start this Sabbath, March 10th, for divine service. Then Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30pm to 8:30pm. We close out our Children Stories series on Sabbath, March 17th. On Monday through Wednesday of Youth W.I.S.E. a light meal will be provided so that you don't miss out on the special message. Get there early! Get ready! Get W.I.S.E.! Brinklow Family Tune-Ups
Brinklow Family Tune-Ups is a new program sponsored by the Family Life Ministry which will focus on building our relationship with God and each other. The first topic will be "Family Worship" presented by our own Pastor Fielder on Sabbath afternoon, March 24, 4:30 pm. Come participate in songs, testimonies and fellowship. Leave with the spiritual food needed to help grow us as Christians. |
Tax Preparation Assistance
Tax Preparation Assistance, sponsored by Stewardship Ministries, will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2:00 – 3:00 pm. This is a free tax preparation assistance program open to qualified persons only. Specific criteria, details, location, and further information will be available online next week. |
Central Union Mission homeless shelter
The ROBERTS MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHOIR from Alexandria, Virginia, will join pastor Anthony Medley in a chapel service at Central Union Mission homeless shelter, 1350 R St., Washington, D.C., 20008. The service begins at 7 p.m. on Monday March 26. The chorale performs a wide range of sacred music. Your presence will be a great encouragement to the disadvantaged.
