Personal Ministries

The Personal Ministries Department provides resources and trains church members to unite their efforts with the pastors and church officers in the final proclamation of the gospel of salvation in Christ. Our aim is to enlist every member in active soul-winning service for God. Through seminars, meetings, special classes and other organized activities, Emmanuel-Brinklow personal ministries endeavors to prepare members for this important ministry.

Personal Ministries endeavors to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members for dynamic Christian service with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service” (Ministry of Healing, p. 148) and “Every son and daughter of God is called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 395).

Not everyone that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7:21). Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven (Matthew 5:16). Because Jesus is coming soon, we must continue to share the message of salvation. Our goal is to encourage Brinklow members in their witnessing activities by sharing our own and others’personal ministry experiences.

We all must strive to be active disciples for Jesus.
